Coilcraft, a US funded professional manufacturer of wire wound inductors, also appeared at the 11th International Integrated Circuit Exhibition (IIC China) to show its chip capacitors, power inductors, network transformers and other products used in communication equipment, mobile phones and digital network products.
With the hot market of communication, mobile phone terminals, consumer electronics, automobiles and PCs, the ubiquitous passive components in these fields are also in great demand. As a device with a fixed application scope, the market of inductance is relatively stable and low risk. Since its birth in 1945, USL has been committed to providing coils and transformers for the communication and television industries. Up to now, the winding inductance of Wire Art has occupied 60% - 70% of the global market, so it has a low profile in the Chinese market, but there is no shortage of high market share and stable customer sources.
At the exhibition, Wang Yizhong, the marketing engineer of Meishang Xianyi, introduced: "Meishang Xianyi uses direct marketing to provide winding inductance devices for Chinese customers. At present, there are two factories, one built in Meizhou in 1990, with 3000 employees at present; the other is in Xi'an, with 300 employees at present due to its high degree of automation. The rest are offices in seven places across the country, providing technical support for customers. A new office has been newly built in Guangzhou." Perhaps because of the type of products sold, this inductance supplier, the only one participating in the IIC, is slightly special. Customers have been asking about products and prices, but only basic introductions and small gifts are on display.
It seems that although the sales style is low-key, the market demand is enough to bring stable and continuous customers. Wang Yizhong also said with a smile: "Our circle is relatively fixed. The products come from the United States, and there is no doubt about the quality and cost performance." The product positioning of Meishang Xianyi is above the average. The direct sales method makes the company do not need to make any inventory, just ship according to the order, and the delivery period is about 4 weeks. Its global competitors are mainly TDK and TOKO.
